Carlos Hyde and Braxton Miller carried the load for the Buckeyes on offense while Michigan State left its best car in the garage for much of the afternoon last weekend. We examine those decision and their impact before taking a look ahead at Nebraska in this week's column.

This week we turn to Thelonious Monk for inspiration as we examine what most impacted Ohio State’s 17-16 win at Michigan State last week and look ahead to the Buckeyes’ visit from Nebraska.

Why? Because one team in East Lansing remained committed to what it does while the other seemed to forget what it was all about on offense.

Ohio State can't relax, though, with the Cornhuskers set to provide another big challenge.
