The first game week of the Urban Meyer era is upon us, and the column is back. Rather than spend much time looking back, we peak ahead at what might be in store as the Buckeyes take on the RedHawks from Miami on Saturday.

The weekly “Cus Words” column on Ohio State football returns as the Buckeyes look toward facing Miami University in Urban Meyer’s first game as head coach of his home state’s flagship university.

Change has a way of highlighting all kinds of good and bad things about a situation. It also changes the perception, swinging some things from one category to the other. That was the No. 1 lesson of the offseason, but we are more focused on the future now.
