Friday Night Lights is already paying off, with Ohio State accepting the commitment of Indianapolis Lawrence Central offensive lineman Tim Gardner on Saturday afternoon, Scout's Allen Trieu reported.
Gardner (6-5, 320) is rated a two-star prospect by Scout but impressed the coaches while on campus for the high-level camp Friday night.
He joins offensive tackle Evan Lisle of Centerville, Ohio, as offensive line commits in the class. He is the 16th overall member.
