Defensive Linemen:
Elkton (Md.) Christian Academy five-star prospect Kenny Bigelow projects as a
tackle, but is listed on the roster at end. He is a specimen and we would guess
that a lot of people will be watching him during the one-on-ones. Bigelow is
committed to USC. Da'Shawn Hand is arguably the top defensive lineman in next
year's class from Woodbridge (Va.). Dajaun Drennon (Timber Creek) and Tashawn Bower (Immaculata) are two of the best from New Jersey with over 40 offers
between the two. Representing New York is Ebenezer Ogundeko (Thomas Jefferson)
who has blown up as much as anyone this spring.
Some others to keep an eye on are Egg Harbor (N.J.) prospect Eric Wiafe,
Myles Nash from Timber Creek (N.J.), Marvin Gross from Dunbar (Md.). Two more
New Yorkers who could make an impact are Rashaad Coward (Sheepshead Bay) and
Thomas Plonski (Brooklyn Tech).
Linebacker:
There a a lot of headliners in this group including four-star Alex Anzalone
from Wyomissing (Pa.), who recently decommitted from Ohio State. Good Counsel
(Md.) outside linebacker Dorian O'Daniel who is committed to Clemson. Four-star
outside linebacker Matt Rolin from Briar Woods (Va.). Rolin has offers from
across the nation. Three-star Doug Randolph from Woodberry Forest (Va.).
Randolph is committed to Stanford, but has said he wants to look around.
Some players who are looking to prove themselves are West Lawn (Pa.) Wilson
middle linebacker Junior Joseph, Clarion (Pa.) linebacker T.J. Armstrong, Bishop
McNamara (Md.) linebacker Kevin Robbins and St. Peter's Prep (N.J.) prospect
Shane Huber. There is also a solid group of underclassmen in this group.
Princess Anne (Va.) 2014 recruit Aaron Glover is a player we have seen in 7on7
action this spring.
Defensive Back:
Five-star cornerback Kendall Fuller from Good Counsel (Md.) headlines this
very strong group of players. St. Peter's Prep (N.J.) cornerback Tre Bell, a
Florida commitment will be in action. Four-star Piscataway (N.J.) standout Nadir Barnwell is scheduled to be in attendance. Notre Dame pledge Devin Butler from
Gonzaga (D.C.) will be there. Avon (Ohio) cornerback Ross Douglas is on the
roster again. The Penn State commitment loves to compete, as he did last weekend
in Columbus. Manchester (Va.) four-star outside linebacker and Virginia Tech
pledge Holland Fisher is on the roster as a defensive back. Ohio State commit
and four-star cornerback Eli Woodard will be at the camp.
Some players to keep an eye on in this group will be Michael Parker from
Kettle Run (Va.), Kirk Garner from Good Counsel (Md.), Kennedy Frazier from
nearby Calvert Hall (Md.), Kyle LaPorte from Piscataway (N.J) and Greensburg
Central Catholic (Pa.) sleeper Zach Guiser.
There are also a few talented underclassmen in this group, including
potential top 100 safety Quin Blanding from Bayside (Va.) and Montae Nicholson
from Gateway (Pa.). Nicholson has been out of 7on7 action with a shoulder
injury, but he is an impressive young safety prospect.
