Overheard at Ohio State: Toledo Week

Another week of preparation for the Ohio State football team is drawing to a close, and we are back to bring you notes about everything the Buckeyes and their coaches discussed in anticipation of taking on Toledo.

With the lineup about to expand by four or five new players, there was plenty to talk about on the Ohio State football beat this week.

Head coach Luke Fickell, assistants Taver Johnson and Dick Tressel and players C.J. Barnett, J.B. Shugarts, Etienne Sabino and Jack Mewhort discussed the Buckeyes' performance against Akron, the return of players from injury and suspension, the ways the Rockets pose a threat to Ohio State and much more.
