Notes: Nugent's 10-for-10 performance at last fall's kick scrimmage was the springboard to his great 2002 season. Hopefully he won't carry Thursday's performance into 2003. Nuge finished 4-of-7, all from 41 yards and in... Santonio Holmes looked very smooth as a return man. He fumbled the one punt, but other than that he was excellent. He has gamebreaker moves and quickness… Sander looked really good for the most part. He shanked one, but the majority of his kicks were high and long… Kyle Andrews is one of the top long-snappers in the country. His backups struggled a bit today, there were several low snaps… The highlight of the day was Drew Carter's 49-yard punt return on a reverse from Gamble. However, Huston botched the field goal on the following play…Gamble looked smooth as always on his returns, but wasn't able to break one… Prior to the kick scrimmage, the Buckeyes had a live, 11-on-11 "hurry-up" drill in which the offense had 44 seconds to score from the defense's 28-yard line with no timeouts. Craig Krenzel got the first possession and came
